# How do I change my account email?

> Change the email address on your MailBlastr account from your account settings in the dashboard.

You change the email address on your MailBlastr account from **account settings** in the dashboard. This is a dashboard-only action — there is no API endpoint for it.

1. **Open your profile** — Sign in to the dashboard and go to your profile / account settings.
2. **Enter the new email** — Under your email, type the new address in the email field and submit the update.
3. **Confirm from both inboxes** — You are signed out, and a confirmation email is sent to **both** your new and your current address. Click the confirmation link in **each** email to complete the change.
4. **Sign in with the new email** — Once both confirmations are done, log back in using your new email address.

> **Warning:** The change is not complete until you confirm from **both** inboxes. Requiring confirmation from the current address as well as the new one prevents someone from hijacking the account if they gain access to only one mailbox.

> **Note:** Changing your account email does not affect your API keys, verified domains, or sending — those are tied to the account, not to the login email.
