# email.scheduled

> Fires when an email is accepted for sending at a future time.

The `email.scheduled` event fires when an email **is scheduled to be sent** at a future time — for example when you pass a future `scheduled_at` to [`POST /emails`](https://www.mailblastr.com/docs/api/emails-send).

When the scheduled time arrives and the message is dispatched, you will receive [`email.sent`](https://www.mailblastr.com/docs/webhooks/emails/sent) for the same `email_id`.
